The Word of God in Proverbs 22:6 declares: "train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it".
Our Senior Pastor, Elder E.W. Edwards caught the vision to establish Channel Of Blessings Outreach Apostolic Ministries in 2002. Under his guidance, a vibrant Youth Dept. emerged and adopted this name "Radical Youth 4 The Cross". The term "Radical" means that this department is intent on presenting Christ to the nation, through spiritual expressions of dancing, poetry, singing and acting. Activities are developed, planned and designed to encourage youth participation, enjoyment and spiritual enrichment.
Each year we choose a theme to develop our goals. This year's theme, "Taking it to the Next Level" will reflect our hopes and aspirations to grow deeper in God. By the end of 2010, our youth should excel both spiritually and naturally. I am therefore encouraging all the youth to devote themselves to Christ by accepting Him as their personal Savior, developing a relationship with Him and seeking to obtain the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, it is also our desire to teach our youth about the Christian way of living; to show them that being a follower of Christ is not boring as some may think; and teach them to live and dress modestly as the Word of God instructs. This will enable them to live a happy and fulfilled life as a believer in Jesus Christ.
Please join us in fellowship every 1st and 3rd Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. for a night filled with fun and excitement.
