MISSION STATEMENT
I must work the works of Him who sent me while it is day for the night cometh when no man can work……John 9:4
The Lord has given special gifts and assignments to the people of His church. We were not called to be bench-warmers or spectators rather everyone is capable of doing something. The work of the church will never get done unless we all do what God has called us to do. Let us be like the Bee, all play roles in the survival of its community.

- Shelter Care
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me…. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me”
-Matthew 25:35-40 NIV
The Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children located in Atlanta, Georgia has been a long standing partner of this Ministry. Clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, house hold items, toiletries, personal care items and food have been donated to them over the past 6 years. For the past 25 years, this shelter has not only provided a safe haven for women and children from the city streets and extreme weather conditions, but also assisted many of them in finding jobs and training which led to their obtaining residences and independence away from shelter living.
- Bibles Unbound.
“The Bible brings great hope and peace beyond all earthly measure so we must share it with all those who don’t possess this treasure”
-Adapted
We have partnered with the Persecuted Christians in sending New Testament Bibles to China. To date, we have donated over 30 bibles to the hungry souls and we are anticipating an increase in donation in the coming months. One measure of our love for God is what we are willing to do to share His Word with others. Cost of sponsorship is $6.00 monthly. Will you partner with us
- Elder Care
Since January 2005, we have been making frequent visits to the then Tucker Nursing Home now known as Grace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Our hands are never empty as the residents are treated to fresh fruits and goodies along with gospel songs and prayer.
Our Shut-in Ministry is a sub-section of our elderly care ministry. We visit our own members who are no longer able to attend worship services.
- Tract Ministry
Will you be bold in your witness by giving lost sinners God’s Word? Jesus will honor your service and sinners will surely be stirred.
A Christian is an ambassador who speaks for the king of kings… Adapted.
Every third Saturday per quarter we meet at a designated area and distribute gospel tracts and Our Daily Bread. Since January 2009 we have been blessed to distribute 120 tracts and booklets. We thank God for our partners Fellowship Tract League and RBC ministries who supply us with these effective tools for our outreach ministry.
- Prayer Warriors
You need to talk with God today, your hearts bowed down with care, just speak the words you have to say, He’ll always hear your prayer. Access to God’s throne is always open.
- Adapted.
A praying church is a powerful church and COBOAM has embraced the quote “Pray Until Something Happens”. We can report that through prayer sick are healed, burdens are lifted, and souls are saved. The second Friday of every month has been allotted to intercessory prayer and fasting.
All are welcome to join us during this time.
